No. 2 (Freddie’s list): Jordy Nelson, Kansas State
Ted Thompson’s history of selecting receivers in the opening three rounds is strong. From Greg Jennings to Randall Cobb and James Jones, he hits more often than not. Even the selections of Davante Adams and Ty Montgomery are proving to pay off now, even if Montgomery spends the majority of his time as a running back.
