For the third time in the past four games, Green Bay Packers kicker Anders Carlson missed an extra-point attempt on Sunday. Because the PAT was the third of seven that Carlson took a swing at in the playoff game, the miss didn’t make any difference in the Packers’ 48-32 victory over the Dallas Cowboys.
Carlson has missed a kick in four consecutive games, pushing a 41-yard field-goal attempt to the left in the regular-season finale – a 17-9 victory over the Chicago Bears on Jan. 7, when he went 2-of-2 on extra points.
With Green Bay two victories from reaching Super Bowl LVIII, Packers coach Matt LaFleur was asked if the team had considered replacing its rookie kicker.
