The Green Bay Packers went into the offseason knowing they needed help at the cornerback position, especially with Jaire Alexander apparently on the chopping block.
The Packers did ultimately sign a cornerback, adding Nate Hobbs on a four-year, $48 million contract. It was definitely and odd move given the other corners that were available, and Luke Norris of Lombardi Ave is frustrated because Hobbs is nearly as injury-prone as Alexander.
"With the Packers perhaps set to move on from injury-prone cornerback Jaire Alexander, their potential solution to the problem is to bring in a player in Nate Hobbs, who has missed 17 games over the past three seasons.
