Green Bay Packers’ Richard Rodgers is Off to a Fast Start in Training Camp

Richard Rodgers was considered a questionable third-round selection in the 2014 NFL Draft, but he proved his worth with an impressive rookie season. Now that he’s comfortable with the Green Bay Packers‘ offense and has shaken off the jitters, he is ready to become the team’s starting tight end.

Obviously, he has some competition; Andrew Quarless, who started 11 regular season games at tight end last year, had nine more receptions (29) than Rodgers (20) in 2014. However, Quarless was arrested in July for firing a gun in a public area.
