(WNFL/LEARFIELD) – The Green Bay Packers have themselves a new kicker.
The team signed Brandon McManus and released Brayden Narveson who had missed 5 field goals over the first 5 weeks of the season.
McManus aid that he’s glad to get the opportunity in Green Bay.
McManus said that once the NFL made its ruling, he was hopeful some team would give him a chance.
He said that the Packers are the team he wanted to go to.
McManus said that he’s hoping to stick around and make Green Bay his home.
As for the kicking game, McManus said that he doesn’t anticipate any issues with the kicking operation
Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst talked about what made him comfortable signing McManus.
