GREEN BAY − The Green Bay Packers will receive a seventh-round compensatory pick in next month's NFL draft.
The pick is No. 250 overall, giving the Packers a total of eight when they host the draft April 24-26.
A total of 35 compensatory draft picks were handed out to 15 teams Tuesday. Compensatory picks are awarded to teams who lose more or better compensatory free agents than it acquires during the previous offseason.
Last year, the Packers lost Yosh Nijman, Jon Runyan and Darnell Savage, and added Josh Jacobs and Xavier McKinney.
