GREEN BAY, Wis. -- It appears Devin Funchess' two seasons with the Packers will end without him ever playing in a regular-season game. The team on Wednesday placed him on injured reserve because of a lingering hamstring injury.
Funchess last played in an NFL game in Week 1 of the 2019 season, when he broke his collarbone in his only game with the Indianapolis Colts.
Funchess made more headlines off the field than on it after he signed one-year, $2.5 million contract that included a $1 million signing bonus with the Packers in March 2020.
