Heading into the 2025 NFL draft, the Green Bay Packers were widely expected to target a cornerback. Jaire Alexander has been in rumors all offseason long and the current expectation is that the team will part ways with him before the 2025 season.
When the Packers did not draft a cornerback, it turned some heads. Could Alexander be back for one more year after all?
Even though that would make sense when connecting the dots, a major update has been made following the draft about Alexander's future.
According to a report from Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Green Bay is still expected to part ways with Alexander despite not adding more help at the position.
