What do we know about Green Bay Packers backup running back John Crockett?
Not a heck of a lot.
That’s because we only saw him for about five minutes last year.
That was when Eddie Lacy was benched at Detroit … you remember that game and how it didn’t end with any running backs involved?
But it was Crockett who came into the game early in the second half to provide a bit of a boost to the offense at just the time they needed it. He helped sustain a drive in the second half with a 12 yard burst for a first down and showed Packers fans that he may have a couple of jets in his shoes to which not many have paid attention.
