Green Bay Packers ILB Sam Barrington was the latest recipient of the team injury woes.
The team was forced to put him on injured reserve this week after suffering an apparent ankle injury during the team’s win against the Chicago Bears this past Sunday.
Barrington showed a lot of promise last season as a run-stuffing force in the middle of the Packers’ defense. Much was expected of him this season in the same role, however, those hopes are dashed with this latest season-ending injury.
Are the Packers in trouble?
Maybe.
The team has had significant problems stopping the run in the past two seasons.
