The Green Bay Packers matchup with the unbeaten Denver Broncos on Sunday Night – was highly anticipated.
If it wasn’t already a scheduled Sunday Night affair, it would be certainly been flexed into the primetime spot. The marquee matchup of Aaron Rodgers and Peyton Manning, head to head, looking to remain perfect at 7-0 was too juicy a storyline to pass up.
Was.
I say “was” because it didn’t last. In fact, midway through the first quarter, it was clear that the matchup was going to leave much to be desired – at least, on the Packers’ end.
