Getting good luck with the bye week hasn’t often been the case for the Green Bay Packers in recent years.
Twice in the past six seasons (2013 and 2016), the Packers have had to deal with the earliest possible bye in Week 4. Considering Green Bay made it all the way to the NFC Championship Game in 2016, it meant the team had to play 16 games in a row without a break. That’s tough.
Even last year’s week off in Week 7 was slightly on the early side. The season prior it was Week 8, which is fine.
