Coming into training camp, the Green Bay Packers carried an expectation level that could be considered at an all-time high. The franchise was returning 11 starters on offense from 2014, which saw the Packers reach the NFC Championship game.
The start of the Packers’ problems began in the preseason, when wide receiver Jordy Nelson sustained an ACL injury, resulting in him being placed on injury reserve for the entire season.
Even with Nelson’s injury, the Packers’ expectations still remained high on the season as whole, and seemed to be in good shape after a 6-0 start to the season.
