Green Bay Packers downgrade wide receiver Geronimo Allison to Out versus New England Patriots

The Green Bay Packers have downgraded wide receiver Geronimo Allison to OUT and made cornerback Tony Brown to questionable for Sunday night’s game against the New England Patriots.

Allison’s injury plagued 2018 season continues after he returned last week in the loss to the Los Angeles Rams following a concussion and a hamstring injury that caused him to miss the previous two games. He injured his groin in Thursday’s practice that quickly moved him the wrong direction on the injury report.

With Allison missing his third game in four weeks, this likely means more playing time for the rookie wide receivers in particular Marquez Valdes-Scantling who has really begun to emerge as a legitimate weapon for quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
