GREEN BAY – Forbes says the value of the Green Bay Packers increased 22% during the last year, reaching $5.6 billion. It was the third-largest increase in the league, and vaulted the Packers from 20th to 13th place.
The value of every other NFL team increased as well, although for the ninth place Chicago Bears, it was only 2%, the smallest gain in the 32-team league. Every team in the league now is worth more than $4 billion. Forbes estimated that every team was profitable last season. The full report can be read here.
