The Green Bay Packers will be replacing future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers this fall. And while Jordan Love is certainly going to get the first crack at the job as the first-team quarterback after playing behind Rodgers for several years already, it sounds like the team is exploring all its options to find the best players available.
According to a report from James Larsen, a reporter covering the USFL and XFL, the Green Bay Packers are bringing in former USFL MVP quarterback Alex McGough, who apparently has generated a lot of interest across the league.
“The Green Bay Packers are working out #USFL MVP QB Alex McGough, per @AaronWilson_NFL,” Larsen said in a tweet on Tuesdy.
