If you're going to let go of a head coach or coordinator, there better be someone you believe has the experience and qualifications to be an immediate improvement out there for hire.
I've covered the Packers in a professional capacity for five years, and this is the first time I'm penning a "Fire Dom Capers" column. Suggesting that a coach be fired is no small action, both on a micro and macro level. First, this is a real person, with a career, a family, bills to pay. And replacing someone at the level of defensive coordinator is no small task; it changes the entire face of a team and could very possibly render some of that team's current players ineffective depending on the scheme and coaching philosophy of the replacement.
