While the Green Bay Packers reportedly filled one of their coaching vacancies on Thursday, another assistant position appears to have opened up. According to the Newsday's Tom Rock, New York Giants head coach Ben McAdoo plans to hire Green Bay's Mike Solari as an offensive line coach.
This past season, Solari coached the Packers' offensive linemen underneath James Campen. He joined the staff after spending several years with the San Francisco 49ers, Seattle Seahawks and Kansas City Chiefs.
While the line didn't match the lofty expectations it set in 2014, injuries rather than coaching caused most of the issues.
