A win is a win. No phrase describes the 2019 Green Bay Packers more than that one. The Packers (13-3, 6-0 NFC North) somehow found a way to win Sunday, barely beating the Detroit Lions (3-12-1, 0-6 NFC North) 23-20 in week 17. The win marked the first time since 2011 that the Packers swept the NFC North and they earned a first-round bye in the playoffs as a result of it.
The result? Beautiful. The performance? Not so much. The Packers’ offense struggled immensely Sunday with quarterback Aaron Rodgers at the forefront of a lot of the troubles.
