Coming out of Park Crossing High School in Montgomery, Grant DuBose had one offer to continue his football career. At Miles College, the wide receiver played for the Golden Bears’ SIAC championship and NCAA Division II playoff team in 2019. But after Miles College canceled its 2020 schedule because of the coronavirus pandemic, DuBose was left bagging groceries, delivering food orders and working at Walmart and Hyundai Glovis.
Now he’s catching passes for the Green Bay Packers.
“I mean, as crazy as it seems, I always knew I was going to play in the NFL,” DuBose said on Tuesday.
