GREEN BAY, Wis. -- The stands around Ray Nitschke field had already emptied. Just about everyone saw what they needed to see during one of the longest practices of training camp -- a 2-hour, 35-minute marathon on Wednesday in the midday sun.
But there were two players still on the field -- Davante Adams and Kevin King.
In fact, they do this on most days. When Green Bay Packers training camp practice is over, it isn’t really over for them and numerous other players who stick around for extra work.
In this case, it’s a continuing-education class for King, the Packers’ top draft pick.
