2020 has been an absolutely brutal year, but thankfully the Green Bay Packers were able to brighten the mood even just a little bit.
During the annual shareholders meeting yesterday (being held in a virtual format thanks to COVID-19), team president Mark Murphy made the announcement that the Packers were one of three finalists to host the 2024 NFL Draft. Murphy expressed confidence that the Packers had a legitimate shot to host the event.
The development of the Titletown district over the next few years as well as the completion of the Resch Expo next year would enable Green Bay to hold the event, a tantalizing prospect for a city that more than likely will never host a Super Bowl.
