When Kenny Clark signed his extension with the Green Bay Packers, all eyes turned to two other big names on the roster with expiring deals.
Running back Aaron Jones recently announced negotiations were getting underway for his second contract, which then turns attention to offensive lineman David Bakhtiari.
Unfortunately there seems to be no news on that front.
That’s not to say all hope is lost and the elite left tackle won’t be in Green Bay next year and beyond. Both sides of course could work out a deal as the season goes on (and the Packers traditionally only do one preseason extension per year anyway) and there is always the franchise tag to fall back on.
