Free Agency Opens: Packers Options

Free agency, well the "legal tampering" portion of free agency has officially opened. Green Bay has something in the area of $21 million in cap space after the Randall / Kizer trade. If you believe recent reports (and the earlier comments of Packers GM Brian Gutekunst) they're going to be aggressive. There are also multiple avenues for Green Bay to create cap space without releasing key players so they do have a multitude of options.

$15.4M by extending Aaron Rodgers
$7.9M by extending Clay Matthews
$13.3M by extending both Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb.
