Bill Belichick’s spending spree isn’t over quite yet.
On Thursday afternoon the Patriots signed Montravius Adams, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, a defensive lineman that should further bolster their depth there. The former Green Bay Packer can earn up to $2.5 million on the deal.
A third-round pick in 2017, Adams stands 6-foot-4, weighs 304 pounds, and played 45 games in a reserve role.
Belichick has been quite active on the defensive line this week, signing Matthew Judon to a top-of-the-market deal, bringing Kyle Van Noy back, and adding Henry Anderson and Davon Godchaux to beef up the middle.
