John Dorsey, current Kansas City General Manager, played for the Packers from 1984 to 1988 and then went on to spend 12 years as Director of College Scouting before becoming the Director of Football Operations for the Packers. Dorsey was hired by Kansas City in 2013 and in his first year as GM was named Executive of the Year by the Pro Football Writers of America.
On August 26, Dorsey will return to the Green Bay area to attend the Lee Remmel Banquet to receive the Distinguished Service Award. The dinner is hosted by the De Pere Rotary and proceeds from the banquet will benefit local college and high school students' with scholarship funds.
