Mason Crosby, the all-time scorer in Green Bay Packers history, finally has a new landing spot, joining the Los Angeles Rams as part of their practice squad.
Crosby, who wasn't retained by the Packers for a 17th season when the franchise drafted kicker Anders Carlson, hadn't found a new NFL home despite workouts and social-media demonstrations of his skills.
He had previously worked out with the Rams and, even though this is only for a practice-squad opening, Kevin Petra of NFL.com said he expected Crosby to be moved to the active roster quickly.
