A Green Bay Packers family lost a member Thursday morning. Gelindo "Lindy" Infante, the coach who led Green Bay from 1988-'91, passed away Thursday morning in his native state of Florida. He was 75 years old.
According to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, Infante fell at his home last week, breaking four ribs. When doctors performed X-rays and other tests, they discovered that the former coach had a serious case of pneumonia. His final days were spent at Northeast Hospice of Florida.
Infante served as perhaps the most successful Packers coach between the Vince Lombardi and Mike Holmgren eras.
