Former Georgia Bulldogs quarterback Jake Fromm has tried out for the Green Bay Packers. Fromm, who most recently played with the Washington Commanders, was released earlier this offseason.
The Buffalo Bill drafted Fromm in the fifth round of the 2020 NFL draft. Fromm spent the 2020 NFL season in Buffalo, but the Bills released him ahead of the 2021 season.
Fromm then landed with the New York Giants, where he started a couple games in 2021, but did not put up impressive numbers (210 passing yards, one touchdown and three interceptions). After his stint with the Giants, Fromm spent most of his time at Washington on the practice squad from 2022-2024.
