Green Bay — As the evening sun melted beneath the horizon, a cameraman moved into position low on the grass at Lambeau Field. With lens pointed up, angle tight on the swarm of bodies emerging from the tunnel, the first unveiling of the 2015 Green Bay Packers flashed across the video boards.
From the stadium's innards emerged the players — amped, anxious, anticipatory — as the public address announcer introduced each position, the crowd bathing its heroes in applause.
But as the camera locked in on the outside linebackers, led by the hulking frame of the visored Julius Peppers, something felt amiss.
