By trading Ka’dar Hollman to the Houston Texans, Green Bay Packers GM Brian Gutekunst got value for a player who was most likely going to be cut anyway.
Many were shocked that Hollman fetched a seventh-round pick, as he became the second cornerback to be jettisoned in the space of a week, following Josh Jackson out the exit door.
But this is nothing new from Gute, who continues to squeeze the last drop of value out of players who were not long for the roster.
