The Green Bay Packers had four different players from their rookie class play over 100 snaps from scrimmage during the 2024 season. One was a rotational offensive lineman, and three others were starters on Jeff Hafley’s breakout defense.
First-round pick Jordan Morgan had his season sabotaged by a shoulder injury, but second-round picks Edgerrin Cooper and Javon Bullard were both starters, and fourth-round pick Evan Williams was one of the NFL’s mid-round surprises.
Cooper looks like a potential star, and Bullard and Williams will be expected starters in 2025. If Morgan can return and win a starting job, and third-round picks MarShawn Lloyd and Ty’Ron Hopper can become core players in Year 2, the Packers will have enjoyed a highly successful draft in 2024.
