GREEN BAY – If the Green Bay Packers have one unrestricted free agent on defense they need to re-sign this offseason, it’s defensive tackle T.J. Slaton.
Slaton had one of his best games of the season in Sunday’s 22-10 wild-card playoff loss to the Philadelphia Eagles and was a big part of a solid defensive line performance that prevented Eagles running back Saquon Barkley from dominating the game. Barkley finished with good numbers (25 carries for 119 yards rushing, 4.5 yards per carry) but didn’t hit any home runs and was not the reason the Eagles won the game.
