GREEN BAY – Something that’s been easy to overlook is how good the Green Bay Packers’ pass protection has been most of the season, and that included another sackless effort against the Seattle Seahawks during Sunday night’s victory.
The Packers have allowed only 16 sacks through 14 games, which ranks second-fewest in the league behind only Buffalo’s 13. It’s true sacks are as much a quarterback stat as a protection stat, so that low number also reflects well on Jordan Love’s mobility and willingness to get the ball out to avoid the sack.
