Over the past decade, it’s no secret that Green Bay has stayed relatively quiet in the free agent market. Over the past three years, there’s been a major exception to that rule—the tight end position. Since 2015 Green Bay has put significant resources into signing free agents Jared Cook, Martellus Bennett, Lance Kendricks, and now Jimmy Graham.
Graham, who will turn 32 this season, certainly doesn’t come cheap. The rumored three year, $30 million dollar contract with $22 million in the first two years makes Graham one of the highest paid tight ends overall. He will immediately become the highest paid tight end in average salary at $10 million per season.
