The Green Bay Packers defense is just stat-padding interceptions at this point. In all seriousness though, it shows how turnover luck is high variance and how the pendulum swings back and forth. After a 2023 season where they had seven all year, they had five coming into this game and recorded two more, giving them seven in the first three games of 2024. And they’re definitely not just the result of luck either.
At the end of the day, the Packers won 30-14, thanks in part to those two interceptions, a pick-six, and eight sacks for a net loss of 56 yards on defense.
