While he’s only been in Green Bay for a single season, Packers defensive passing game coordinator Derrick Ansley has made his mark on the club. Not only was he part of a significant defensive turnaround in his first year on the Packers’ staff, but Ansley used his prior experience with safety Xavier McKinney at Alabama to help earn him first-team All-Pro honors in 2024.
Now, it appears that Ansley is a hot name on the coaching market again. The Atlanta Falcons announced on Thursday that they had completed an interview with Ansley for their open defensive coordinator position, the first such interview that Ansley has reportedly been requested for this offseason.
