Explosive runs should be key to a Packers victory vs. Colts in Week 2

Yesterday, Houston Texans running back Joe Mixon was able to record 30 carries for 159 yards and a touchdown against the Green Bay Packers’ Week 2 opponent, the Indianapolis Colts. In that Colts loss, three different Texans — including Mixon — were able to post carries of 13 yards or longer.

In total, the Colts allowed six rushes of at least 10 yards, which was the most of any team in the league according to NFL Pro. Five of those carries were true handoffs, while one was a scramble from quarterback C.J. Stroud.
