The expected signing of free agent guard Aaron Banks, who agreed to terms on a four-year deal with the Green Bay Packers on Monday, likely signals a position change upcoming for veteran offensive lineman Elgton Jenkins in 2025.
Banks, a second-round pick of the San Francisco 49ers in 2021, has played almost 2,600 career snaps in the NFL, and all but five have been at left guard, per Pro Football Focus. Keeping Banks at left guard -- a position he played extensively at Notre Dame, as well -- is the most likely path forward for the Packers.
