Ever since the Green Bay Packers traded Aaron Rodgers to the New York Jets, many former Packers have followed him. Most recently, the Jets added Rodgers' former top target Davante Adams.
While predicting trade deadline deals, USA Today's Cory Woodroof predicted that the Jets and Tampa Bay Buccaneers will make a trade to reunite former Packers teammates Royce Newman and Aaron Rodgers. Newman is a backup on the Buccaneers roster right now.
"The New York Jets lost guard Alijah Vera-Tucker to injury on Sunday night. The team could find itself in a spot of needing a new starter if Vera-Tucker misses significant time," wrote Woodroof.
