Former Michigan pass rusher Rashan Gary appears to be fully recovered from last season’s surgery to repair a torn ACL.
The Green Bay Packers outside linebacker recorded a career-high three sacks in Sunday’s 18-17 comeback victory over the New Orleans Saints.
Green Bay (2-1), which trailed 17-0 in the fourth quarter Sunday, slowly worked the 2019 No. 12 overall pick back into action in the team’s first two games, playing him 34 total snaps.
But he received an increased workload Sunday and took advantage. His first two sacks came in the first half against New Orleans starter Derek Carr, while his third came in the fourth quarter against Jameis Winston, who took over after Carr left with a shoulder injury.
