Early on in the offseason, the Green Bay Packers were reportedly trying to trade star $84 million cornerback Jaire Alexanders. Rumors started running rampant, but have since cooled off.
While Alexander remains with the Packers, fans should not expect to see that remain the case.
At this point in time, Green Bay and general manager Brian Gutekunst are remaining patient. They're waiting to see if teams turn to pursuing a trade for Alexander. However, Alexander still does not seem to be in the plans for the future.
According to ESPN insider Rob Demovsky, who covers the Packers, Green Bay is still trying to trade Alexander despite the rumors going quiet.
