ASHWAUBENON, Wis. (WBAY) - The Green Bay Packers hosted an event to make sure kids are getting their daily exercise.
The Packers hosted the Green Bay Football Outreach Camp on the Titletown football field across the street from Lambeau Field on Wednesday.
The outreach camp is in conjunction with the NFL’s Play 60 program. It gives elementary school students a chance to test their football skills with challenges and obstacle courses.
“We want to get kids outside, playing at least 60 minutes a day. We’re getting through winter, getting into some nice weather now, and it is so important to have these kids get away from the screens, get them outside and running around and playing and getting them that exercise to live that healthy, active lifestyle,” football outreach manager Ryan Fencl said.
