With their defensive line still lacking for bodies, the Green Bay Packers have moved to add another. According to ESPN's Field Yates, the team has claimed former Chicago Bears defensive lineman Ego Ferguson off of waivers.
Ferguson spent the past three seasons with the Bears, playing sparsely. After appearing in all 16 games as a rookie, a knee injury cut his 2015 campaign to just four games. He subsequently received a four-game suspension for violating the NFL's performance-enhancing drug policy. A shoulder injury suffered during Chicago's 2016 preseason finale resulted in season-ending surgery.
