For three hours the stadium of 78,369 watched Lacy, their beloved albeit recently maligned tailback, bludgeon the Dallas Cowboys with punishing runs that chewed up yards. Twenty-three times he carried the ball on a sloppy track at Lambeau Field on Sunday, and after 123 yards the fans craved more.
A chant began to crescendo.
