The Eagles faltered after grabbing an early two-touchdown lead but bounced back behind Jalen Hurts — who set Philly’s single-game team rushing record for a quarterback — to defeat the Green Bay Packers, 40-33, at Lincoln Financial Field Sunday.
Hurts ran for 158 yards to break quarterback Michael Vick’s franchise mark of 130 rushing yards in a 2010 win over the New York Giants. The single-season NFL rushing record for quarterbacks is 178 yards by Justin Fields of the Chicago Bears, set earlier this season. Colin Kaepernick with the San Francisco 49ers earned the playoff record with 181 rushing yards against the Green Bay Packers.
