In this edition of Alumni Spotlight, Packers.com Senior Writer Mike Spofford sat down with former Packers WR Don Beebe. Beebe talks about arriving in Green Bay, his ascent as a return man and receiver with the Packers, and finally winning a Super Bowl with Green Bay in Super Bowl XXXI.
A wide receiver, Don Beebe played in 26 games for the Packers during the 1996-97 seasons. An immediate contributor, he caught 39 passes for 699 yards and four touchdowns in 1996 as he helped the Packers to victory in Super Bowl XXXI. He had two 100-yard receiving games in 1996, including an 11-catch, 220-yard performance on a Monday Night overtime win against San Francisco.
