The Miami Dolphins’ renovations aren’t confined to the coaching staff.
The changes within the team’s front office continued over the weekend, with Miami hiring Reggie McKenzie as a senior personnel executive.
From fired to hired
The 56-year-old McKenzie was fired by the Oakland Raiders in early December, after nearly seven years as general manager.
He had a lot of work to do when he was hired, and was named the NFL’s executive of the year in 2016, after the Raiders went 12-4 and made the playoffs for the first time in 15 years.
