The Miami Dolphins claimed former Green Bay Packers wide receiver Grant DuBose off waivers Wednesday, according to the NFL's transaction wire.
DuBose, 23, was a seventh-round pick in the 2023 NFL draft -- three selections before Mr. Irrelevant was taken -- and spent his rookie year on Green Bay's practice squad. In the Packers' preseason opener this season, DuBose was the leading receiver with five receptions for 66 yards. However, he didn't catch any passes in the team's next two games.
It's not surprising that the Dolphins looked to upgrade the receiver position.
