Dolphins activate quarterback ahead of matchup vs. Packers

The Miami Dolphins will have a new backup quarterback option against the Green Bay Packers as they have activated Tyler Huntley, who might be best known for making a Pro Bowl in 2022 as Lamar Jackson’s backup in Baltimore, to the active roster. Huntley was previously placed on the injured reserve for a shoulder injury back in Week 7.

Huntley made three starts for the Dolphins in 2024 before his injury, all as a replacement to preferred starter Tua Tagovailoa. If Huntley isn’t the number two quarterback for Miami, it’ll be Skylar Thompson.
